New Cameras for you!

MCM-TV is implementing an energetic plan to modernize the systems our community uses to produce and telecast local TV to local viewers. In June the studio control room was remodeled with a high-definition Tricaster switching system.  August saw the old studio cameras replaced with state of the art high-definition units.

Another step forward begins in a few weeks when the cameras that local producers checkout for field shooting get an upgrade. MCM has purchased new Sony HXR-NX70U camcorders offering stunning high-definition clarity!  These cameras capture avchd video to sd cards.  Soon videotape will be a thing of the past at MCM.  Also planned is an update to the producer’s editing area as MCM introduces Final Cut X editing software to work with the new cameras.

We’re beginning to schedule training sessions for the new field cameras.  Please consider how you or your organization would benefit from a local TV production that you create!  MCM is the place that can help you make it happen.

September Sports!

The school year is right around the corner, which means fall sports are about to get underway. If you want to experience production during a live sporting event, now is your chance. Work with a fast paced game, love what you do, and watch sports! Email MCM TV to Volunteer for this coming months Football Productions.

Last Market of the Season

This month Frank Lisciandro paid tribute to Barbara Boyer, the Market Manager. She worked from 2000-2012 and has put together some fabulous markets. Check out the video when you can on MCM TV.

MACOS Swim Club

Another local producer Chris Ludwick created a terrific video about the Wine Country Swim Meet. We hope to see and hear more about what is happening with the MACOS! Look for it on MCM TV.
