Cable Management Agreement Renewed.

Thanks goes to the McMinnville City Council for its commitment to community television. In June the city voted to renew a contract with MCM allowing us to continue operating cable tv in McMinnville for 10 years. The agreement furthers MCM's mission of strengthening and enriching our community through communication opportunities, tools, and training.

Thank You Nadene!

Another big thank you goes to Nadene LeCheminant for her service on the MCM Board of Directors. Nadene played a large role in communication between MCM and Linfield College. She will be missed as she takes an administrative position outside of McMinnville. Her departure leaves an open seat on our Board of Directors. If you or someone you know is interested in possibly serving MCM through our governing board, please contact MCM Director Jerry Eichten at Jeichten@mcm11.org.

Poetry Underground

Mike and Elizabeth Santone have once again gone above and beyond with the creation of Poetry Underground. This video kicks off the Adult Summer Reading Program at the McMinnville Public Library. Poets read their work before a live audience at the Velvet Monkey on 3rd street. This piece will play on MCM TV and we can't thank Mike and Elizabeth enough for their continued support of community television!

Summer Volunteers

MCM is happy to be able to cover great community events with the help of amazing volunteers. Paul Weber, Mark Ludwig, and Mike Santone  were greatly appreciated helping with the Linfield Concert Series Van Production last month. As summer continues, more concerts, sports, and other productions will arise. We would encourage anyone interested in gaining valuable hands on experience to volunteer! Training is always available!
