Informing our Community

MCM-TV is here to help you create and distribute your message through our local cable TV channels. McMinnville residents are invited to acquire skills and create video programming that reflects your interests.  Here's an example of sharing information about a community non-profit, the McMinnville Habitat ReStore.  This video is currently playing on MCM-TV, and you can also see it via MCM's YouTube Channel.

Contact us if you would like to craft a video of your group or organization.

Ken Volz

We are sad to have to say farewell to a terrific community producer. With change comes excitement and growth and to that we say congratulations. A regular helper and terrific content producer Ken Volz has been creating recordings for Bethel Baptist Church for 4 years. Starting with MCM-TV back around 2010 he has made constant improvements to the church program. While I am sure he does not always wear his zany alien daze outfits, he always had cheerful spirits and a can do attitude. Thank you Ken for your help, volunteer time, and support to community television. Best wishes from MCM-TV.

MDA Awards

The McMinnville Downtown Association had its annual awards night last month giving praise to businesses for going above and beyond. It was highly attended from residents and business owners. The silent and picadilly auctions were something everyone could enjoy. If you are curious on who the winners were, then I recommend checking out the program when you can.

Brain Seminars

Dr. Larry Sherman has been speaking at the Senior center for the last few months. Each presentation discusses the brain and its interactions. His last seminar about "Love & The Brain" was a great success and had a wonderful turn out. Today will be his last talk titled "Genes to Brains". It will occur at 6pm at the Senior Center.

If you would like to see this or his previous presentation, check out MCM-TV this coming month.

MHS Basketball

The last double header of the season occured last month when Mac High took on the Newberg Tigers. This was not only a rivalry game, but perhaps the last time MCM-TV is able to record these rivals in the same conference. As usual, our volunteers did a terrific job. We even had a multitude of help from the MHS Soar Productions program. While basketball may be over for now, there will always be more great MHS games.

Program Search

If you are looking for a particular show or production, don't forget about MCM's Program Schedule. On our website you can find a list or programs playing today, or even during the week. Find a production from a drop down list and see its airing times. Simple and one of the quickest ways to find out what is playing on your community television.
